ME, MYSELF, & i.

I was born and raised in Southern California and brought into the world on October 10, 1990 at 3:16 am, which is ironic because I wouldn’t consider myself a “morning person,” but maybe one day I will be! I love to create, drink coffee, write, take pictures, play sports, go to concerts, and lose myself in song lyrics. Syncopate and cadence are two of my favorite words. My favorite holidays are the 4th of July, Christmas, and Halloween (despite how easily I get scared and my on-the-verge-of-tears reaction when I am). I enjoy the dressing up part, though!

I am 100% IN LOVE with words – the way they sound, look, and most importantly, how they can make you feel. I love the way words can resonate with someone and how they can be powerful enough to make you read them over and over again. Writing is my art form and although actions can speak louder than words,

sometimes words are enough.

Fun Facts:

  • I have a 12 year old Jack Russel Terrier mix named Benjamin Oliver Winston

  • I played 4 years of Division III basketball at Whittier College (GO POETS!)

  • I broke my nose in a high school basketball game (surgery went smooth, btw!)

  • When I was about 9 years old, I made a modeling debut in a Sports Illustrated issue, representing the “Junior Goodwill Games” with Olympic athlete, Dan O’ Brien

  • As a kid, I got to sing an all-time favorite Disney song, “Beauty and the Beast,” on stage with Peabo Bryson at a local concert in my hometown (he sang alongside Celine Dion on the original track so it was pretty freaking COOL)
